On April 3, 2013, the official opening of the new medical complex of the clinic of JSC "Medicine", equipped with innovative equipment and IT infrastructure using smart technologies, took place in Moscow. The 12-storey medical building with an area of 20.6 thousand square meters houses the advanced oncology center Sofia, as well as multidisciplinary inpatient and diagnostic departments. According to experts, the innovative medical equipment presented at the Sofia Cancer Center increases the number of detected repeated malignant neoplasms by 15-20%, reduces the frequency of their recurrence by 5-8 times, reduces the indicators of oncological neglect by 15-20% and cancer mortality statistics by 25-30%. According to the estimates of the management of JSC "Medicine", the opening of a new building within three years will additionally create about 400 new jobs.
